SuperSport boasts over 20 channels, including a number of High Definition channels, which broadcast a range of both major and smaller sports.
Although the World of Champions’ headquarters are in South Africa, SuperSport has tailored programming for various regions, making it a true Pan-African company.
SuperSport has a long history of broadcasting blue-chip events and this year, for example, will see this tradition continue with the Olympic Games, European football championships, the inaugural Rugby Championship and much more.
Apart from investments in a number of football leagues, not least in Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Ghana, Zambia and Kenya, SuperSport also has a thriving website – the biggest sports portal in Africa – and has also developed the Super Diski brand for PSL football.
Moreover, SuperSport supports the Let’s Play social investment initiative, which annually encourages tens of thousands of children to participate in physical activity, and has partnered with Wits Business School to offer a high-level sports management course.
