Because we work hard to support and develop local teams, we have a deep understanding of cultural business practices in the markets in which we operate. In South Africa for example, we support previously disadvantaged businesses by actively seeking such suppliers, in line with local legislation.

This year Takealot introduced 100% recycled delivery packaging and Media24 in Cape Town implemented water-saving and resilience initiatives, running awareness campaigns, and developing plans to work differently to use water responsibly.
