Naspers agrees the sale of Buscapé to Zoom

Naspers agrees the sale of Buscapé to Zoom Naspers has agreed the sale of Buscapé, one of the leading online comparison shopping sites in Brazil, to Zoom.  
 
First acquired by Naspers in 2009, Buscapé is trusted by 15 million unique monthly visitors to compare prices online before shopping, underpinned by a network of 5,000 merchants and 12 million product offerings across a diverse range of categories. The sale is consistent with Naspers’ focus on its core businesses in the online classifieds, food delivery, and payments and fintech sectors.

Naspers remains committed to Brazil and we continue to operate and invest in this important market in the online classifieds, food delivery, payments and fintech sectors, among others, through companies including OLX, ifood, and PayU,” said Pat Kolek, Chief Operating Officer, Naspers.
 
Subject to regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in 2019.
